Players may buy and sell horses at a weekly Sim auction. The auction features proxy bidding (similar to ebay's system), an option to set reserve prices, and varying auction closing times. Sim dollars are the currency used at the Sim auction.

Auction timeline

The auction runs weekly. After the Sunday update completes, the auction opens for players to put horses up for sale and players may begin to bid on horses they wish to acquire. Sellers may continue to place horses in the auction until the close of weekly entries on Wednesday. Each horse's sale time will close (the auction for that horse will end) at a random time determined by the game sometime between Thursday and Saturday. Players must place bids by the time aech horse's sale period ends in order to qualify to win.
