so if I am reading that correctly, you probably want your horses running at least high 60's at this point to be top 25% type horses.

I suspect that two year olds that have 5+ starts are probably not top tier horses, so you are correct. By time they get to start 5 they probably should be up to mid 60's. I am going to generate a new report that eliminates maiden and claiming races. That should give a clearer picture of what the better horses are running. Male vs female and dirt vs turf should also be looked at.
